Give Mini TLC for longer

Mini's money-saving TLC servicing package will be available for up to eight years and 80,000 miles from January 1, 2005.

Existing owners will be able to upgrade their current five-year/50,000-mile cover to the eight-year/80,000-mile deal, called TLC XL, for £300. TLC XL will cost new buyers £450.

The standard five-year TLC option will continue to be available but its price will increase by £50 to £150.

Both schemes cover all servicing, parts and labour costs for the duration of the agreement.

Buyers can opt to upgrade to TLC XL after the first five years so long as they do so before the next service is due. Both options are transferable to new owners if the car is sold on.

Just 3% of Minis are bought without TLC.
