Say hello to the world’s fastest Mercedes C-Class – the bonkers 224mph Brabus Bullit.

German modifier Brabus has shoehorned a 6.3-litre twin-turbocharged V12 under the hood of the C-Class, giving the Bullit 720bhp and 811lb/ft of pulling power.

This means a claimed 0-62mph (100kph) time of 3.9 seconds, 0-124mph (200kph) in 10.49 seconds and a top speed of 224mph.

That’s the same as the Gumpert Apollo supercar and 20mph MORE than the Ferrari 599GTB.

To improve handling and stopping power, Brabus has fitted its own suspension and massive 380mm disc brakes.

Brabus has also customised the Bullit’s interior, fitting the saloon with in-house leather seats.

The engine used in the Bullit is the same as the Brabus Rocket – a Mercedes CLS-inspired sports saloon capable of 227mph.

The Bullit will be officially unveiled at this week’s Frankfurt Motor Show.

Our man Stuart Milne will be reporting live from Germany, so don’t forget to come back for all the big news as it happens.
