23 May 2007 by Stuart Milne The world's most exclusive Mercedes SL super-roadster has built by a tuning company– and we've got the first pic. The Kicherer SL K 60 Evo Black is powered by an incredible 605bhp version of the SL600's 6-litre V12 engine, and counts 20-inch wheels and an aggressive bodykit among the spec sheet. But while the official Mercedes SL63 AMG might have more power, the Kicherer is faster, thanks to the electronic speed limiter cutting in later. That means the SL K 60 Evo Black will hit a massive 186.4mph flat out. Without the limiter, the big roadster should be able to hit 200mph. It can accelerate to 62mph in just 4.3 seconds, and on to 120mph in 14.2 making it a serious rival for the Ferrari F430 Spider. This particular SL wears a carbon fibre bodykit to aid downforce and brake cooling at high speeds, as well as carbon levers for the semi-automatic gearbox.
