Lap Laguna Seca from your living room
04 September 2009
You’ve crashed and burned more times on the PlayStation than Kerry Katona’s had hot Iceland dinners.
But now here’s your chance to set a lap record on the Laguna Seca Raceway – for the slowest ever loop.
Because the Californian race track made famous by Gran Turismo is the first circuit to appear on Google Street View.
Oh yes, you can go round the track, negotiating the Andretti Hairpin and The Corkscrew from the perspective of an American Le Mans car competing in the final leg of the 2008 series.
You spend the lap following a Corvette and Porsche 911 on the 2.2 mile track, now known as the Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca.
