Here are all the latest pictures of the stunning new Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 – the hottest Gallardo ever to go on sale.

The Gallardo LP560-4 has a host of changes over the original model which first hit the road in 2003 and became the Italian carmaker’s most successful car ever.

Power has been increased thanks to a brand new 5.2-litre V10 engine fitted with direct fuel injection technology.

It’s now up to a mighty 560bhp from its longitudinally positioned engine (cylinders aligned lengthways in the car) and drive is sent to all four wheels – hence the name Gallardo LP560-4.

Acceleration from 0-60mph is reduced to a devastating 3.7 seconds and its top speed increases to more than 200mph.

The new engine technology not only boosts power, it also cuts fuel consumption and carbon dioxide emissions by 18 per cent.

More than 7,100 Lamborghini Gallardos have been sold and the latest model should continue the Italian supercar builder’s success story.

The standard Gallardo LP560-4 is even faster than the ‘uncorked’ Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera released last year.

Essentially a stripped out ‘club-racer’, the Gallardo Superleggera features stiffer suspension, a no-frills interior for reduced weight and modifications to the engine resulting in 530bhp.

Available in bright orange, the Superleggera is proud and very loud.

The even-faster Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 should be more refined and it’s priced at £147,330 and will be available from late June in Lamborghini’s London, Birmingham, Manchester and Edinburgh dealerships.

It’s nose and LED front and rear lights are inspired by the million-Euro Lamborghini Reventon.
