The Kahn Cosworth 300 is now for sale on Auto Trader with A Kahn Design slashing the price of the luxury 4x4 by nearly £10,000.
 
Officially announced last year, the Kahn Cosworth 300 is a joint partnership between Yorkshire-based bodywork specialists A Kahn Design and tuning legends Cosworth.

When the Cossie Range Rover was announced last year it was with a price-tag of £69,000.

To combat the credit crunch, A Kahn Design have now slashed £9,027 off the price giving the off-roader an on-the-road price of £59,995 – just £6,000 more than the standard Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE the Cosworth 300 is based on.

For this, buyers get a set of 22-inch alloys, flared wheel arches, modified front bumper, Cosworth rear spoiler and lower boot spoiler along with a load of Cossie branding.

The 3.6-litre V8 diesel engine gets an increase in power from 286bhp to 300bhp enabling a 0-62mph time of 8 seconds and top speed of 135mph.

Launched in 2005, the Range Rover Sport is regarded by many as one of the world’s best 4x4s thanks to its styling and impressive performance on- and off-road.

It was recently named the most popular car among Premiership players with owners including Steven Gerrard, John Terry, Peter Crouch, Joe Cole and Michael Owen.

And cars modified by Kahn are also popular among the footballing fraternity with customers including David Beckham, John Terry and Michael Essien. 

You can get your hands on a Kahn Cosworth 300 First Edition for £59,995 – however you won’t get one with the F1 plate which cost company founder Afzal Kahn £440,000.
