A Lamborghini Reventon is for sale on Auto Trader.
That’s right; the ultimate supercar maker’s ultimate supercar is up on the market – for a cool £1 million.

It’s always an argument which polarises opinion but the Lamborghini Reventon puts a genuine case forward as being the greatest performance motor ever.
It’s not going to match the Bugatti Veyron for performance, the Ferrari F40 for purity or the McLaren F1 for its groundbreaking technology.
But the Lamborghini Reventon is more dramatic and extreme – and a far rarer sight with just 20 built.
It is based on the Lamborghini Murcielago but the Reventon’s carbon fibre exterior is completely new, designed to give the impression it’s a fighter jet for the road.
The front is characterised by the acute angle of the central ‘arrow’ sitting above two huge intakes which suck in air to cool the 380mm carbon disc brakes and six-cylinder callipers.
Using a 6.5-litre V12 engine, the Reventon develops 650bhp and 487lb/ft of pulling power. This will accelerate the Lambo from 0-62mph in 3.4 seconds and on to a top speed of 211.3mph.
With this sort of performance, the Lamborghini isn’t exactly green – averaging 13.3mpg. In town it will be doing 8.7mpg which means every kilometre of congested driving costs 60p.
And it’s big. Very big. At 4.7 metres long and 2.2 metres wide, you’ll want to be very careful driving it through town. Never mind, you are driving one of the great cars.
Inside, there is a TFT display screen with a G force meter.

Originally registered in Germany, we understand this will only be the second Reventon present in the UK.
This 2008 Lamborghini Reventon – which is for sale through Nash-Konig Performance and Specialist Cars – has just 260 miles on the clock and costs £1 million.
