These are the first pictures of the sexiest Lamborghini Murcielago yet, straight from the Los Angeles Motor Show.

The Murcielago LP640 Roadster is fitted with a 6.5-litre V12 engine, producing 631bhp and 480lb/ft of pulling power.

The Lamborghini has a top speed of 205mph and accelerates from 0-62mph (100kph) in just 3.4 seconds.

Available with a six-speed manual or automatic gearbox, the LP640 Roadster has power permanently transferred to all four wheels. 

Sitting on 18-inch wheels, the Lambo’s 18-inch wheels feature massive ventilated disc brakes with the option of more powerful carbon ceramic brakes available at a substantial cost extra.

Lamborghini has redesigned the Murcielago’s instrument panel, fitting a Kenwood radio with a 6.5-inch screen for DVD, MP3 and WMA. Sat-nav is also available as an option.

The LP640 Roadster will be available early next year for around £200,000.
