Honda has given its S2000 roadster a face-lift and raised prices by £500.

The changes mean that the base model starts at £26,500, while the uprated GT version costs from £27,500.

Styling changes include new 17-inch alloy wheels, revised front and rear bumpers, triple beam headlights, LED rear lamps and oval-shaped exhaust pipes.

The interior gets a new steering wheel, redesigned centre console and a leather gearshift. The chassis has also been revised and the car's steering, clutch, gearshift and brakes have been overhauled.

Honda has put up prices on other models in its line-up. The CR-V 4x4 goes up by £200, and has also received a minor face-lift that includes clear indicator lenses, silver-effect door handles and window switches, and a redesigned gearshift.

Executive versions of the CR-V rise by £400 but gain chrome-coloured door and tailgate handles, body-coloured side skirts and a choice of either black or titanium leather trim.

Prices for the Accord family car have increased by £400 for 2.4 i-VTEC Type-S and Executive models.
