FR-V goes on sale in November
06 September 2004 Prices for the six-seater start at £14,750 for the entry-level 123bhp 1.7-litre SE, and rise to £15,700 for the 148bhp 2.0-litre SE and £16,400 for the top-spec 2.0-litre Sport model. A 2.2-litre turbodiesel is expected to go on sale next year. The FR-V looks keenly priced compared with its rivals. The VW Touran 2.0 FSi SE costs £17,855 and Renault's Grand Scenic 2.0 Dynamique is priced at £17,410. The Honda seats six people over two rows. The middle seats in each row slide forwards and backwards and should provide enough space for adults as well as children to sit three abreast. Each car is well equipped as standard. The entry-level SE-trim cars come with a CD-player, front, side and curtain airbags, all-round electric windows and climate control. |
