07 July 2008 These incredible pictures show a Porsche 911 Turbo with the ultimate ‘bling’ accessory – covering the entire bodywork with 18kg of gold. Such an unbelievable smattering of precious metal has added around £270,000 to the price of the 189mph drop-top supercar. The gold Porsche was spotted in Russia recently, but its owner’s identity remains a mystery. Not only has the gold been meticulously fitted to the car, much of it has been etched and decorated too. The bonnet, sides and rear spoiler all sport a truly unique brand of Russian folk art. The incredibly shiny body contrasts sharply with matt black wheels, rear lights and the soft top hood. Recently a £500k custom Rolls-Royce rumoured to be owned by a member of the Sultan of Brunei’s family was spotted in London’s West End. And, a stunning Range Rover modelled on the 2004 Range Stormer concept by MTV’s Pimp My Ride stars West Coast Customs went on sale in Dubai. One of only three in the world, the tuned SUV featured a totally bespoke body with two-less doors, aluminium bonnet scoop, two-inch lower roofline and 22-inch wheels. It was owned by Dubai royalty.
