Rocket man beats Ford Focus RS

A rocket man with a jet pack attached to his back has beaten a Ford Focus RS in a race.
American Eric Scott won the race, beating a Ford Focus RS driven by British Touring Car driver Gordon Shedden.
The brave fella from Denver pipped the Scot, Hitting a top speed of 65mph in the race, just short of the 68mph he managed on Saturday.
The race took place at the Knockhill circuit near Dunfermline.
In November 2008, the rocket man became the first person to fly across the Royal Gorge Canyon in Colorado.
While we commend Mr Scott’s bravery/madness, we can’t help thinking we’d prefer to be driving the Ford Focus RS with its crumple zones, airbags and five EuroNCAP stars.
