Ford Focus Zetec S announced
24 October 2008 The Ford Focus is now available with a new Zetec S trim with the UK’s biggest selling car getting a selection of sporty upgrades. Based on the mid-level Zetec spec, the Ford Focus Zetec S gets a new bodykit which includes front and rear spoilers, 17-inch alloy wheels and an S badge on the front wing. The Ford Focus Zetec S costs £750 over the standard Zetec model which is very respectable with Ford claiming the upgrades are worth more than £1,600. But customers looking for further sportiness can pay an additional £500 for the Sport pack which gains 18-inch alloys and privacy glass or £200 for the WRC pack which consists of chequered flag decals and WRC scuff plates. Since its launch a decade ago, the Ford Focus has been the UK’s biggest selling car year-on-year thanks to its good styling, reliability, safety and great driving dynamics. It’s also a favourite thanks to the choice available with biofuel-powered models sitting alongside impressive petrol, fuel efficient diesel and the superb Focus ST hot hatch. Joining the line-up next year will be the Ford Focus RS - an awesome 300bhp hot hatch which should be capable of around 160mph. The Ford Focus Zetec S is on sale now with prices starting from £16,345. Video: Watch the Ford Focus ST in action You need Flash Player 8 or higher to view video content with the ROO Flash Player.
