Ford prices Focus ST
13 September 2005 The Focus ST comes with a 221bhp 2.5-litre five-cylinder turbocharged engine, which powers the car to 60mph in 6.5sec - quicker than the Golf GTI, but a fraction slower than the Vauxhall Astra VXR. The Focus ST's top speed is 150mph. Order books open on October 1, but if plusher trim, with niceties such as safety equipment, such as traction and stability control, you'll need to move up to the Focus ST 2, which is priced at £18,495. The ST 2 also comes with an MP3-compatible CD player and xenon headlamps. The range-topping ST 3 costs £19,495 and includes adjustable Recaro seats, full leather trim and a CD autochanger. |
