Sharp new look for Mondeo-man?
|
26 June 2006 Our computer-generated images are based on the Iosis concept, which Ford unveiled last year. At that time, Ford said the Iosis heralded a new design-strategy for its next generation of cars. Ford calls it 'kinetic design', but whatever its name, Mondeo-man could be in for a real treat if Ford stays true to the exciting concept. The scissor-action doors of the concept certainly won't be retained on any production car, but there's no reason Ford couldn't retain the striking lines of the Iosis, as we show here. It could well be in showrooms sooner than you think, too. The next-generation Mondeo is widely tipped to be unveiled at the Paris Motor Show at the end of September, with sales expected to begin in the UK early next year. |
