Vicki Butler-Henderson to race Ferrari F430

Ferrari has made a new signing – and its not Fernando Alonso.

Ex-Fifth Gearpresenter Vicki Butler-Hendersonwill make her debut driving a Ferrari F430 Challenge in the GT Cup Finale at Brands Hatch this weekend.

Vicki will pilot one of two cars run by Silverstone-based FF Corse in the race that will see her line up with 29 other cars from several manufacturers over two rounds.

But although her previous day job meant she spent her days driving the world’s sexiest cars – including Ferraris – its the first time she’s raced one.

She said: “This is a dream come true. To race the F430 Challenge with FF Corse at Brands Hatch in the Finale of the GT Cup is incredible. It will be my first race in a Ferrari but thankfully I know my way around Brands Hatch so I’m very confident  I’ll be challenging for a strong finish.”
