First peek at Ferrari 599 GTB
10 January 2006 The 599 GTB uses a 6.0-litre V12, an engine derived directly from the Enzo Ferrari supercar, and it develops a whopping 620bhp. The engine is fitted to an ultra-light all-aluminium chassis and body. No specific details of its performance have been released yet, but expect its top speed to be over 200mph - it's Ferrari's most powerful V12-engined production car ever. Prices are likely to be over £160,000. The car replaces the 575 Maranello, of which some 5700 were made. |
