Cartoon band Gorillaz are the runaway winners of our album art poll.

The band – featuring Blur frontman Damon Albarn – roared home pulling 30 per cent of the votes with their beach buggy fronted album cover.

Bearded blues rock band ZZ Top were the animated primates’ closest rivals with a 19 per cent share.

But spare a thought for Teenage Fanclub. The Scottish alt-rock group’s cover featuring an F1 car came last with just two percent.
