One of the world’s rarest Bentley coupes is for sale on Auto Trader – the super-exclusive Bentley Brooklands.

This Bentley Brooklands is the fifth car to roll off the production line and is one of just 550 cars which Bentley intends to make.

The 2008 Bentley Brooklands for sale on Auto Trader has covered just 200 miles, and is powered by a twin-turbocharged 6.75-litre V8 engine which produces 530bhp.

This means the low-slung two-door Bentley Brooklands – which is more exclusive than the footballers’ favourite Bentley Continental GT – accelerates from 0-60mph in five seconds before reaching a top speed of 184mph.

And the all-singing hand-built V8 powerplant is also one of the world’s most powerful, producing 774lb/ft of pulling power making in-gear acceleration ferocious – 50mph to 70mph is dispatched in just 2.4 seconds.

Despite the supercar performance, the big Bentley offers total luxury and comfort – the cabin is trimmed entirely in leather and is hand-finished for an exclusive finish.

Robin Page, head of interior design at Bentley, said: “The Brooklands’ beautiful hand-finishing is no different from a bespoke suit or haute couture dress.”

This 2008 Brooklands comes with ‘burnt oak’ leather upholstery and headlining, and ‘dark bur’ walnut finishing around the interior.

And Bentley has fitted the Brooklands with the standard luxury items, including heated electrically adjustable seats, sat nav, climate control and park distance control.

Bentley has already sold out the first year production run of this V8-powered super-coupe, and just a handful of the planned 550 cars are available brand new.
