Ronaldo interested in Ferrari 458 Italia

Cristiano Ronaldo could be the first of many celebrities to get his hands on the new Ferrari 458 Italia.
The former Man United star, who has had a colourful car history, was spotted speaking to Ferrari boss Luca di Montezemolo at an event in Spain.
Di Montezemolo is reported to have invited Real Madrid hotshot Ronaldo to Fiorano to test-drive the new 458 which made its global debut at last month’s Frankfurt Motor Show.
The new Ferrari 458 Italia is the replacement for the F430 which went on sale in 2005.
And if it’s anything like the new Ferrari California, it’s going to be a celeb-magnet with Cali owners including Eddie Murphy, Chris Evans and George Michael.
With a new 4.5-litre V8 engine developing 563bhp, Ferrari claims the 458 will accelerate from 0-62mph in 3.4 seconds and reaching a top speed of 202mph.
When it goes on sale next year, the new Fezza is expected to cost £170,000 – or €162,000 for Mr Ronaldo.
This cost shouldn’t be too much of a concern for the world’s most expensive footballer who is earning comfortably more than the 458 Italia’s price-tag per week.
The Portuguese winger hit the headlines in January this year when he wrote his Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano off in a tunnel.
Ronaldo’s car was involved in a collision with a roadside barrier and suffered serious damage with one of the alloys getting ripped off in the process.

Fortunately, the then Man United lynchpin emerged unscathed with the police not pressing charges. He later purchased a new Ferrari 599.
Since his move to Real Madrid in the summer, Auto Trader has had three of his old cars go up for sale including a diesel Mercedes C-Class which was his car of choice for popping to the shops in.
Most recently he has been driving an Audi RS6 Avant like former teammate Wayne Rooney and he’s also been spotted eyeing up a Lamborghini Gallardo. Not bad for a 24-year old.
