A Lamborghini Murcielago previously owned by Derby County captain Robbie Savage is for sale on Auto Trader.

The notorious midfielder – who currently holds the record as the player with the most yellow cards awarded (89) – was the first owner of this 2005 Murcielago.

Speaking about his black Lamborghini in GQ magazine, Robbie reckons the sound “is sweeter than the car stereo”.

But while the sound may be ‘sweet’, the performance of the monster Murci lives up to Savage’s name – it boasts a 6.2-litre V12 engine producing 580bhp and 479lb/ft of pulling power.

This means Robbie’s internal organs will have been subjected to a 0-62mph time of 3.8 seconds, while – where permitted of course – the Lambo will hit a top speed of 205mph.

Robbie’s old Lamborghini is the ‘E Gear’ version, of which just 400 a year were built, which gives it a semi-automatic gearbox and permanent four-wheel drive.

The luscious Lambo gets a cream leather interior, a Harmon Kardon sound system along with sat-nav and 18-inch alloy wheels.

But while his on-field antics may not have won him much respect – fans reportedly cheered the loudest during a match when he was accidentally elbowed in the face by the referee – he seems to seek solace in phenomenally powered flash motors.

We’ve previously spotted him driving a jet black Bentley Continental GTC with custom alloy wheels, a white Lamborghini Gallardo spider, a 525bhp white Mercedes-Benz CL63 AMG coupe, and a (wait for it) white Lamborghini Murcielago – complete with a Comic Relief red nose on the bonnet.

Robbie’s old Lamborghini Murcielago – which was up for sale on the site two years ago for £159,995 – is now for sale with Marcus Fothergill specialist cars for £119,995. Not bad considering the list price for the Murcielago is over £180,000...
