Paris Hilton spends £200k on diamond dashboard
Paris Hilton is believed to have splashed out £200,000 on a diamond encrusted dashboard for her pink Bentley Continental GT.
It was reported in a national newspaper that the 27-year-old hotel heiress was having the diamond encrusted dashboard flown in from Bentley’s headquarters in Crewe.
But Auto Trader can confirm Bentley will not be making the opulent extra – with a Californian company thought to be behind the work.
Reality TV star Paris Hilton bought the Bentley as a Christmas present for herself last year and immediately handed it over to modifier West Coast Customs to give it the ’Paris’ effect.
WCC sprayed the Conti pink and fitted alloys wheels of the same colour while the interior was decked in the celebrity’s favourite colour too.
Regarding the flamboyant choice of colour, Hilton said: “I think when you’re a little and you have the Barbie Corvette you’re like, ‘I wish I had a car like this one’”.
In standard guise a Bentley Continental GT would have set back multi-millionaire Paris £120,000 so when the dashboard and other modifications are factored in, the pink Conti has probably cost around £350,000.

And Paris’ fondness for pink cars is shared by UK model Jordan aka Katie Price.
On Top Gear in 2004, Jordan told host Jeremy Clarkson she would love a pink Aston Martin.
But the lads’ mag favourite opted away from the Aston and went for a pink VW Beetle with Lamborghini wheels which she says she’ll be keeping for when her two-year-old daughter learns to drive in 15 years.
Similar to Paris, Jordan told OK! magazine: “I remember Barbie had a pink Beetle so I wanted one the same. When I drive it, everyone just stares. It looks like a cartoon car.”
