A Mercedes S-Class previously owned by Manchester City’s £24 million man Joleon Lescott is for sale on Auto Trader.

The former Everton man is the only owner of the ‘57’ plate Merc S320 which is advertised by Hampshire dealer Barons Specialist Cars.

Lescott’s old S-Class is powered by a 3-litre diesel engine which develops 231bhp and 398lb/ft of pulling power.

This gives the luxury German car a 0-62mph time of 7.5 seconds and a top speed of 148mph while averaging 34mpg.

The England defender’s old motor has a set of 20-inch alloy wheels, tinted windows, sat-nav, air-conditioning and a full leather interior.

Lescott, who has played eight times for England, is one of Mark Hughes’ biggest signings having joined the Manchester revolution in August for a reported £24 million.

After years in the wilderness, Man City are now the world’s richest club thanks to its super-rich Middle East owners who are thought to offer new players a £100,000-a-week pay rise to sign for the Blues.

It’s unknown what Lescott is now driving but we’d like to think it was something Italian with a top speed in excess of 200mph.

The Mercedes cost more than £60,000 new but you can get your hands on the car – which has 33,000 miles on the clock – for £34,995.
