Elle of a supercar – supermodel snapped in Aston

One’s an absolute stunner – and the other is Elle MacPherson…one of the world’s most beautiful women.

Put them together and you have the dream scenario for men across the globe.

Yes – earlier this week Elle ‘The Body’ MacPherson was spotted cruising around in her classic Aston Martin DB5 convertible in London.

The 46-year-old former swimwear model made the cover of Sports Illustrated a record five times, and is reputedly worth £60 million, so her classic 1964 drop-top DB5 is not really breaking the budget.

Because we’ve got just ONE Aston Martin DB5 for sale on Auto Trader with a whopping price tag of £225,000, and that’s only the coupe variant.

Aston Martin made just 886 DB5s, and 123 of these were convertible models – so this really is one ‘Elle of a motor.

The DB5 comes equipped with a 4-litre straight-six engine developing 282bhp, does the 0-62mph dash in just 7.1 seconds (probably a little longer for the heavier convertible) and tops out at a very respectable 142mph.

Not that speed is anything you’ll care about with the DB5, because simply put, it is eye-wateringly beautiful.

And we’re glad the Aussie supermodel chose the convertible…for reasons you probably already understand.

But Sports Illustrated – and perhaps the Aston – may never have been graced with her superhuman physique and drop-dead gorgeous looks had the young supermodel followed in her father’s footsteps.

Elle reportedly enrolled to study Law at Sydney University, but before starting she headed to the States to check out modelling – and never came back.

She was one of the first generation of ‘supermodels’ along with Cindy Crawford and Naomi Campbell, started her own company, shot a series of calendars, and even released numerous exercise videos showcasing her fine form.

She’s even got her own wax looky-likey at Madame Tussauds.
