Volkswagen Scirocco Studie R revealed

Forget the fact it’s billed as a ‘design study’, the Volkswagen Scirocco Studie R will happen, although it’s likely to be named the R20T when it goes on sale towards the end of next year.

As the flagship model of the Scirocco range, the Studie was fitted with the same engine from the Audi TTS meaning 2-litres and 264bhp.

101 Ford Focus RS images

Ford finally released official pics, details and video of the production Focus RS, months after the concept was unveiled and spy shots had been taken.

The benchmark figures of ‘300bhp’ ‘less than six seconds’ ‘more than 160mph’ and ‘£24,950’ got the Auto Trader team buzzing with excitement.

Paris Hilton’s pink Bentley Continental?

Photos of a pink Bentley Continental believed to be owned by celebrity heiress Paris Hilton appeared online in December.

West Coast Customs – who worked on MTV smash hit show Pimp My Ride – took Miss Hilton’s Bentley and gave it the Paris treatment, re-spraying it pink and fitting matching wheels.

Jeremy Clarkson is Heat’s Weird Crush

Top Gear scored an interesting hat-trick as Jeremy Clarkson followed in the footsteps of James May and Richard Hammond to be named Heat’s Weird Crush for 2008.

And he beat President-Elect Barack Obama.

Clarkson started the year with 300,000 declaring their wish for him to be named Prime Minister and he rounded the year off by beating the future US President.
