A Mini One Convertible previously owned by glamour model, actress and author Abi Titmuss in for sale on Auto Trader.

Formerly an accident and emergency nurse at London’s University College Hospital, Abi Titmuss shot to fame in the early Noughties as former Blue Peter presenter John Leslie’s other half.

The showbiz industry loved Abi’s look and she became a tabloid favourite, appearing on 38 magazine covers including the internationally-renowned FHM and GQ.

Lincolnshire-born Abi’s career has since moved away from the glamour modelling, appearing on stage in London’s West End and becoming a published author with her no-holds-barred story ‘ The Secret Diaries of Abigail Titmuss.’

Abi is the current owner of this 2006, 56 plate, Mini Convertible which is powered by a 1.6-litre petrol engine developing 90bhp and 103lb/ft of pulling power.

This accelerates the cute convertible from 0-62mph in 11.8 seconds and on to a top speed of 109mph, while averaging a respectable 40mpg.

Other features on the Mini Convertible – which has covered just 4,256 miles – include air-conditioning, reverse parking sensors, electric folding roof, anti-lock brakes and a CD player.

Since its re-launch in 2001, the Mini has been a phenomenal sales success with the Convertible sitting in the range alongside the likes of the Mini Cooper, Mini Clubman Cooper S and recently announced hardcore Mini John Cooper Works.

Car-loving football superstar Wayne Rooney is also a fan of the Mini, having previously owned a Mini GP which was for sale on Auto Trader in August 2007.

Abi Titmuss is the latest glamour model to use Auto Trader to sell her car following Liverpool favourite Danielle Lloyd whose Range Rover appeared on the site in July.

Cars previously owned by Hollyoaks’ stars Gemma Merna and Jennifer Metcalfe have also been sold on Auto Trader in the past few months.

Now you can get your hands on Abi’s Mini – which is being sold through Lincolnshire-based dealer John Peat Motors Limited – for £11,999.
