A 1983 Bentley Mulsanne Turbo owned by the former leader of the Conservative Party, a BMW X5 owned by Colin Jackson, and a Land Rover Discovery bought by Trinny Woodall are all for sale on Auto Trader.

Michael Howard was the second owner of this prestige Bentley Turbo, powered by a turbocharged 6.75-litre Rolls-Royce V8 engine producing 297bhp.

This meant the former Tory party leader could float across the country on the campaign trail in ultimate comfort – the aluminium alloy V8 can propel the regal 2-tonne motor to a top speed of 130mph.

Inside, the Bentley gets the full complement of luxury motoring, with cream leather seats, wooden door cappings and a highly polished walnut veneered fascia.

Howard was famously grilled by political dragon-slayer Jeremy Paxman when, in 1997, Paxman asked him a question over the sacking of a prison governor – 12 times.

He became leader of the Conservative Party in November 2003 and led the party during the 2005 general election.

Now you can get your hands on Michael Howard’s old 1983 Bentley Mulsanne Turbo – which has covered 170,000 miles and comes with a full Bentley toolkit – for just £6,995.

But this isn’t the only famous motor for sale on Auto Trader.

We also have former 110m hurdle star Colin Jackson’s 4.6-litre BMW X5 for sale.

The big BMW houses a petrol V8 engine which completes the 0-60mph sprint in just 6.5 seconds – just under a second faster than Jackson’s indoor world record at the 60 metre hurdles with a time of 7.3 seconds, set in Sindelfingen, Germany on March 6, 1994.

Inside, Jackson specced out the X5 with sat nav, a TV tuner, Imola red nappa leather and 20-inch light alloy wheels.

He was awarded a CBE for his services to athletics in 1992 and won the Christmas 2006 Strictly Come Dancing special.

Snap up Colin Jackson’s BMW X5 – with 86,000 miles on the clock and just one previous owner – for £18,995.

And to top off our trio of celebrity cars, we have TV style supremo Trinny Woodall’s Land Rover Discovery for sale.

With just 26,500 miles on the clock, Woodall is the first and only owner of this Disco, powered by a 4.4-litre V8 petrol engine.

The luxury Land Rover gets electrically adjustable leather seats, climate control and traction control.

Woodall started off her style career writing a weekly column for the Daily Telegraph in 1994, before going on to host successful BBC show What Not To Wear.

Get your hands on Trinny Woodall's Land Rover Discovery – with a full service history – for £26,990.
