King Abdullah II was the first owner of the 1990 Cossie which is powered by a 2-litre turbocharged engine producing 220bhp. This propels the four-wheel drive Ford from 0-60mph in 6.6 seconds and on to a top speed of 150mph. The Cossie’s 15-inch wheels house super-sharp brakes and a sports suspension for optimum handling and stopping. On the inside, the driver is further cosseted by a full leather interior and all-round electrics. King Abdullah II was crowned in 1999, and is rumoured to be a motorsport fan – which would explain owning the World Rally Championship-bred Sierra Sapphire Cosworth.
