A Mitsubishi Shogun previously owned by Peter Hook from Mancunian band New Order is for sale on Auto Trader.

The off-roader currently sports a numberplate bearing Hook's nickname 'Hooky', although the bassist is planning on keeping it to transfer to another car.

Priced at £6,995, Peter Hook - the car's only owner - specified the silver, 3-litre Shogun with a long list of equipment, including cruise control and leather seats.

Peter Hook shot to fame in the late seventies as a member of the English post-punk band Joy Division.

Peter Hook's ex-ShogunAfter the suicide of frontman Ian Curtis, the band renamed themselves New Order and became one of the most critically-acclaimed acts of the 1980s.

The band's single Blue Monday became the biggest-selling 12-inch single of all time, and they teamed up with John Barnes for the 1990 World Cup track, World in Motion, which reached number one.
