Fancy getting your hands on a Jaguar owned by an England football captain?

Auto Trader currently has TWO on its website.

Earlier this week we reported that Michael Owen’s £50,000 model was up for grabs.

Now a luxury Jaguar XJR formerly owned by Alan Shearer is on sale too.

And BBC pundit Shearer’s should fit the needs of more modest pockets, priced at just £12,995 – the same price as a new Ford Focus.

The Newcastle United legend was the first owner of the luxury Jaguar XJR when the British manufacturer presented it to him in 2001.

It is fully loaded with factory extras including sat-nav, a car phone, privacy glass and 18-inch alloys. It has 84,000 miles on the clock.

The supercharged V8 (like the one pictured) produces 322bhp and has a top speed of 155mph.

The former Newcastle United team mates are just the latest in a string of stars to appear on the web site.

Auto Trader is the number one site for celebrity cars with vehicles belonging to England cricket star Kevin Pietersen, Jamiroquai’s Jay Kay, Eric Clapton and boxing promoter Frank Warren all featuring in the last few months.
