A6 takes the sporting line
15 July 2004
Audi has added a new sporting S Line trim to its A6 executive saloon range.
Priced from £27,145 to £44,485, S Line cars are up to £3000 more expensive than the SE models they are based on, and are available with all of the existing A6 engines.
They feature suspension that has been lowered by 30mm, while larger 18-inch alloy and uprated brakes are also fitted. Buyers also get part-cloth, part-leather sports seats with electrically adjustable lumbar support, brushed aluminium inlays in the cabin and a leather-trimmed steering wheel and gearlever.
The £44,485 4.2-litre Quattro S Line is £1710 more than the SE equivalent and gains full leather seats with electrical adjustment.
Buyers can also opt for a £1100 bodykit which adds a different bumper, front grille and rear diffuser as well as automatic headlamp washers. This package costs £875 on the 4.2-litre car, which already has the headlamp washers as standard.
