Free upgrades for A4 Cabriolet
25 July 2005 Buyers of the entry-level model can choose either to upgrade to Sport trim for no extra cost, or opt for the top S line specification, which is temporarily reduced in price by £750 to £1200. Usually a £750 option, Sport trim includes stiffer suspension, sports seats with electric lumbar support, 17-inch alloy wheels instead of 16-inch designs, and leather trim in the cabin. Prices range from £25,390 for the turbocharged 1.8-litre model to £30,330 for the four-wheel-drive 3.0-litre. S Line specification comes with even sportier suspension, cloth and leather sports seats, 18-inch alloy wheels, a unique three-spoke S line steering wheel and brushed aluminium inlays in the cabin. Prices start at £26,590 for the 1.8-litre version and top out at £31,350 for the 3.0-litre Quattro. Buyers should aim to get at least 5% off the asking price of any A4 Cabriolet, according to What Car? Target Price mystery shoppers, including the special offer models. |
