Limited edition Alfa Romeo 147 Collezione

Alfa Romeo has sported up its 147 with a limited edition Collezione model for 2008.

The Alfa Romeo 147 Collezione features a lowered suspension, leather interior and exclusive 17-inch alloy wheels.

And for the first time, customers can have their car in ‘Ghiaccio White’ and opt for a black roof for an additional £500.

There is a choice of two engines, a 1.6-litre petrol and 1.9-litre diesel with both producing 120bhp.

The petrol model accelerates from 0-62mph in 10.6 seconds and on top a top speed of 120mph while the diesel hits 62mph in 9.6 seconds before reaching 121mph.

The petrol model should return an average 34.4mpg with the diesel boasting a more impressive 48.7mpg.

Alfa Romeo has also fitted the 147 Collezione with air-conditioning, steering wheel-mounted audio controls, while safety features include six airbags, anti-lock brakes, traction control and an alarm system.

In the EuroNCAP crash test programme the Alfa Romeo was awarded three stars out of five for adult occupancy.

The Alfa Romeo Collezione goes on sale on February 9 with prices starting from £13,950 for the three-door 1.6-litre TS, rising to £15,450 for the five-door 1.9-litre TJDM.
