Five-year warranty on new Alfas
28 January 2004 Alfa Romeo is offering a five-year warranty with every new 147 hatchback, 156 saloon and 156 estate bought before the end of March. The offer covers all major mechanical parts for up to 60,000 miles, and is being backdated for customers who have registered a car since January 1. It includes five years of AA European Roadside Assistance rather than the usual four years, and paint protection for five years, two years longer than usual.Alfa is considering offering the extended warranty as a cost option beyond the promotional period. The company is also looking into all-inclusive servicing packages like Mini's five-year tlc programme, which covers all servicing and maintenance costs for a one-off payment. |
