Fastest Hummer H3 - first pics

The Hummer H3 has only been on sale a few weeks – but fans can already buy a souped-up version.

Despite weighing almost two-and-a-half tonnes the Geiger Hummer H3 can hit 124mph.

German tuners Geiger have increased power from the 5.3-litre V8 from 242bhp to a whopping 300bhp.

Huge 24-inch wheels transmit power to the ground through a four-wheel-drive system, designed to cope with the hardest terrain.

Extensive bodywork modifications and tinted windows give the Hummer H3 a unique look. Paintwork is based on the Ford GT, with a single body tone cut in half by racing stripes available in any colour.

Geiger offer the option of converting the H3 to natural gas - fitting a 75-litre LPG tank under the rear of the vehicle. They claim the cheaper fuel gives no reduction in performance.

Inside there are leather seats, carbon fibre trim and a multimedia system with DVD screens mounted into the back of each seat headrest.

Previous Hummer models have been championed by action star and current Governor of California Arnold Schwarzenegger, as well as several well known British footballers – thanks to its size and American persona.

Auto Trader recently reported on the UK release of the standard H3, which is on sale now from £26,495.
