The best footage yet of the Nissan Skyline replacement has surfaced on the web.

Nissan's GT-R was first seen in the UK at last month's Goodwood Festival of Speed, but if you weren't there, this footage gives an even better impression of the super-coupe.

Although this video has appeared on YouTube we reckon it could have been secretly released by Nissan to promote the hotly-anticipated car.

Nissan GT-R highlights

• The GT-R is rumoured to offer huge performance from its 4.5-litre turbocharged V8 engine, producing 450bhp
• Like the hot Skyline GT-R, it will have a computer-controlled four-wheel drive system
• It has been seen lapping California's Laguna Seca racetrack in 1 min 39.62 – faster than the £97,000 Porsche 911 Turbo
• Despite the thin disguise, the GT-R will have quad exhaust pipes, and huge air intakes
