Citroen has built a working model of its sensational green supercar concept which wowed the crowds at the Paris motor show.
The stunning Citroen C-Metisse made its debut last September but has been put through its paces on a test track for the first time.
Sadly for us, it's unlikely to make production, but it does point the way for the looks of future Citroens.
According to reports, the C-Metisse, which features gullwing doors and a crazy interior, is powered by a 2.7-litre, twin turbocharged diesel hybrid engine, producing more than 200bhp.
That means a 0-62mph time of 6.2 seconds and a top speed of 156mph, while still returning 45mpg.
The C-Metisse outrageous looks – including those gullwing doors, a one-piece 'clamshell' bootlid and gaping front grilles – are complemented by a sci-fi-inspired interior.
