It’s got a gearbox which took 50 engineers five years to design.

It’s got an eight-litre W16 engine mounted in the middle.

And it was (briefly) the world’s fastest ever car.

Yep – the Bugatti Veyron is arguably the world’s most famous hypercar, with the likes of music mogul Simon Cowell, fashion superstar Ralph Lauren and rapper Chris Brown among its wealthy owners list.

It can sprint from 0-62mph in just 2.5 seconds and power on to a top speed of 253mph.

It will also stop from its top speed to zero in just ten seconds.

And we thought it was only right to celebrate this million-pound beast – with pics.
