A German teenager who took a kart for a spin in Moenchengladbach managed to give seven police cars the slip in a high-speed chase through the town. Police spokesman Willy Thevissen said: "We were chasing him across town, but the squad cars couldn't keep up because the go-kart was able to take the corners faster and get away."
