The driver and his passenger were holding onto the unsecured mattress as they drove their Citroen Xsara from the M4 to the M5 in Motorist Paul Waller filmed the crazy duo as they made the move. Mr Waller, 42, said: “I couldn’t believe it. There was nothing holding the mattress - not even a piece of string. It tipped up and I thought it was going to fly off.” Police are investigating.
