The Aston Martin DB7 is the best selling Aston ever produced, and with good reason ? it?s an absolutely stunning machine. It?s fast too, with 60mph passing in just 5.4 seconds and it will top out with the needle swinging past 170mph.

With the DB7?s time-bending performance, its not like the average driver is really left wanting in the speed department, but no one has complained now that Aston has decided to crank the power up.

Aston Martin DB7 GT Sitting in pride of place at the British Motor Show, the DB7 GT is the ultimate DB7, and quite possibly the greatest DB ever, despite the fact it?s really just a warmed over version of the standard model ? or is it?

To handle the colossal 435bhp and 410 lb/ft of torque, the suspension and brakes have been beefed up. However, the designers have listened to the old ?if it ain?t broke, don?t fix it? adage, so they?ve just made some subtle exterior changes.

Aston Martin DB7 GT There are additional sweeps for the undertray to improve the Aston?s high-speed stability. Under-bonnet cooling has also been a priority with bonnet vents and a lower air intake at the front. Cosmetic changes include a revised bootlid, wire mesh grille and new 18in alloys.

If all this leaves you burning a hole in your pocket, you?ll have to wait until early next year to get your hands on one. The price tag? A mere £104,500 ? 10 grand more than the standard DB7.
