17 October 2007 Adrian Hearn rounds up the footage you loved the most. The incredible Hummer “It’s not a car, it’s not a truck, it’s not another 4x4 – it’s a Hummer.” Last week we told readers about the Geiger Hummer H3, a tuned off-roader with racing stripes and a top speed of 124mph – not bad for a 2.4 tonne military brute. The Hummer was originally designed for US forces to go absolutely anywhere, to be in a universe of its own and be at its most beautiful when the terrain is at its toughest. Environmentalists criticise the Hummer for its horrendous fuel economy and high carbon emissions. But you can’t doubt the Hummer’s insane off-road ability. Watch it go now:

But if you have a racing license, BMW will remove the limiter, giving the raucous motor a top speed of 180mph.
