The BMW 1-Series Convertible

The BMW 1-Series Convertible will be one of the cutest topless releases of 2008.

Initially available with either a 2-litre petrol or diesel engine, petrolheads will be eagerly awaiting the preview of the range-topping monster – the 155mph 135i.

The new 1-Series convertible will feature an electronically-operated folding cloth roof, which the manufacturers claim should open in 22 seconds at speeds of up to 25mph.

And the BMW 1-Series’ party piece? Leather seats which feature sun reflective technology meaning you won’t have to worry about be fried by super-hot seats during the blistering British summer of 2008 – maybe.

The Top Gear Hilux from Look at the Wheels on That

The tenth series of Top Gear kicked off at the weekend with Jezza and co driving around Europe in search of the world’s best road.

But earlier this year the boys embarked on their biggest adventure ever – driving to the North Pole.

While Richard Hammond went old school with a pack of Huskies, Jeremy Clarkson and James May went by one hell of a car – an Arctic-prepared Toyota Hilux.

It’s believed Clarkson and May were the first people ever to drive to the North Pole.
