Jeremy Clarkson – Ford GT
After reviewing Ford’s homage to the iconic GT40, Clarkson decided he had to have one of the 205mph supercars. Blagging his way on to the waiting list, the Top Gear presenter finally got his hands on 5.4-litres of Detroit muscle, only for its alarm to persistently malfunction. Clarkson got a refund. He said: “They put £126,000 in my account and sent a man to pick it up. ‘Is it the alarm system? he said. ‘They all do that.’”
