Vijay Pattni and May Starey bring you the cars of the 2010 North American International Auto Show.

Americans love muscle cars, and it’s hard not to be impressed – especially if they look like this Dodge Viper ACR 1:33.

The final incarnation of the legendary Dodge Viper line is currently wowing the crowds at the 2010 Detroit motor show. The ‘1:33’ edition celebrates the production car’s amazing lap time around the tortuous Laguna Seca racetrack – a time of 1m 33s.

This makes it the world’s fastest production car to lap the California circuit and one of the fastest cars on earth.

The Dodge Viper ACR 1:33 boasts an 8.3-litre V10 engine producing an epic 600bhp, and completes the 0-62mph sprint in less than four seconds.

Top speed? 202mph, and this thing will hit 202mph from rest 14 seconds quicker than the standard Viper.

The Dodge Viper ACR 1:33 isn’t the only star motor making waves in the original ‘Motor Town’ – there’s the electric Audi TT, sorry, Audi e-tron, the bonkers Beachcomber concept by Mini and the new Ford Focus, among others.
