British Superbike team Quay Garage Racing is gearing up for its 5th year in the British Super Bike Cup championship – and they want your help.Rider Gary Mason is back after being drafted in half way through last season and feels he has a point to prove. He said: “I have unfinished business in the main BSB Championship, but you can see how riders can return, just look at Glen Richards. “I am going to be pushing harder this year than I have before and I really want to get strong finishes in the main championship and win the Superbike Cup for the team”. With the financial climate being as it is, the team have seen a net reduction in financial backing for the 2009 season. After putting their heads together and teaming up with Tiverton based Devon Cider Company, the team is launching a unique competition to help fund the team. Fans can enter a text competition for the chance to win a brand new Honda CBR600RR sports motorbike, a year’s supply of Old Moors Cider, VIP hospitality tickets and helicopter transfer to the Silverstone round of the championship as well as additional VIP tickets and the chance to meet the team at the same event. At race meetings there are chances to win Old Moors T-Shirts and bottles of cider instantly with every entry as well as being entered into the prize draw. All revenue raised throughout this campaign will go directly to the team in order to fund the 2009 season. The championship kicks off this weekend.
