The American motorcycle manufacturer has launched a new two-piece zip-together leather suit and matching gloves to strengthen its focus on track activity. The Buell leather jacket, pants and race gloves also provide excellent protection for motorcyclists on the roads.The stylish mandarin-collar black mid-weight leather jacket, with blue and white branding, is priced at £430. The jacket has a removable insulated vest liner and a unique Variable Flow ventilation system to ensure that it can be worn in hot and cold climates. The lightweight elbow and shoulder body armour and spine pad are all removable, while the arms are equipped with Full Flex windproof sleeve panels. A Sure Fit adjustable waist zips securely to pants, which also houses removable lightweight body armour at the knees and hook-and-loop knee panels for knee sliders. The pre-curved legs are also complemented by Full Flex stretch panels for comfort. Prices for the pants start at £358. The colour co-ordinating gloves – priced at £143 – are made from drum-dyed leather with a kangaroo leather palm. Protection is provided by impact-resistant moulded plastic on the knuckle, finger, thumb and palm protectors, while high density padding on the fingers cuff and wrist further increase safety.
