Pirelli has launched a new tyre which provides a combination of long life for touring plus excellent cornering and side grip for a sportier ride. These characteristics are reflected in the tread pattern which transforms after 600 miles of use from an angel insignia into a devil motif!Premiered at the 2009 World Superbike launch (Pirelli has been official supplier since 2004) the new tyre has been named in homage to the Angels and Demons film in which the Italian manufacturer is a partner. The new rubber is designed for sport-touring motorcycles like the Yamaha FJR1300, Suzuki GSX1300R Hayabusa and Kawasaki GTR 1400. So to prove just how good they are, Pirelli set a new 24 hour duration record when they covered an amazing 3,191 miles on a Hayabusa without a tyre change. The Angel ST caters for bikers who like to travel in safety and comfort without sacrificing the thrill of hard cornering because even angles ride like devils some times. Page 1 |
