he new guide has undergone a ‘re-brand’. It’s content may be the same but its new look aims to make it more accessible and easier to identify and manage arable weeds.
Each weed featured carries two pages of structured information with the common and scientific name clearly marked at the top of the page. Underneath the title is a more detailed description under the headings:
  • Life cycle
  • Location
  • Description
Key features, biology and management information is also included.
To help you find your week the encyclopaedia is packed with high quality photographs of weeds at various stages of growth. A simple glossary of technical terms can also be found at the end of the encyclopaedia. The publication can be downloaded now at and you will be able to order hard copies later in the year.
