    A Positive Experience

    So far so good. It is a busy showroom, but the experience I’ve just had has been exceptional. I phoned, they had got car out ready for me to test drive before I’d arrived. Talked me through the specs of the car, let me take it for a run, no real pressure on my return, but it was clear the car was right for me. We agreed I didn’t want a hard sell on the optional extras. Finance wasn’t pushed, but it was explained. Let’s hope the next phase works as well as this.

    Time wasters

    Such a promising start when I got a call from the sales floor manager within minutes of enquiring about a car for my wife. After a great chat, we left on the basis he would get one of the sales team to send me a video and then call me when they had seen we had watched it. After watching the video, I emailed back to say we were heading over to view the car. After nearly an hour in the car, I get a phone call when we were 2 minutes away from the showroom to tell me someone had phoned up and put a deposit on the car and it was no longer available. As I explained to the floor manager we would come up in my car , we came equipped to buy the car after agreeing a part ex and had the children in the car, the sales person offered for me to sit down and look at other cars they had access to. That’s not good enough when we have drove an hour with the family. My wife was devastated as it’s taken her ages to find the car she wanted. All avoidable with the promised phone call.
